Hey everyone, my name is Dana and I’m headed down a new path, because for the first time in my adult life I’m not going to school, raising kids or working full-time. So now what am I going to do? Maybe become a master baker, master gardener, or master procrastinator, the possibilities are endless!
You know all those things you say you want to do or try “some day”? Maybe for me the elusive some day is now and I can do all those things because for this moment in time, that is exactly what I have …time.

Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t led a boring life. I’ve been attached to the military in some form or fashion for most of my life and we have lived and traveled all over the US and a little bit abroad. I love to travel with friends and family, have plenty of hobbies, and love to be out in nature.
But now, my focus has changed: my boys are grown and living their own lives and my husband Jim is living his dream. Jim’s dream began with him accepting a new position which took us from a townhouse in the Denver area to 4 wooded acres in a town in Northern Idaho (population less than my previous subdivision). The city offered up an endless list of places and experiences but I believe in growing where you are planted. And for now I’m planted in the INW (Inland Northwest).
So now it’s time to get some blood flowing to those cubicle ankles and tackle that someday list. This unemployed city girl is ready to find new adventures and master new skills. I hope you will join me from time to time on this journey and maybe discover things you want to try too!
